Virtual Net Metering

Solar panels are installed offsite from the property benefiting from the arrangement.

The electricity usage is still calculated for that property, but the solar panels are located elsewhere. In this system, the photovoltaic setup is linked to the consumer’s EAC account, and the billing calculations are adjusted accordingly.

Virtual Net-Metering is especially beneficial for property owners whose locations aren't suitable for solar panels, or anyone who prefers to have their solar panels installed away from their home.
